Kaitlen Langerhans - Executive Director

Kaitlen is a lifelong resident of the Delaware Valley and a proud graduate of Conestoga High School. She holds a degree in Sociology from West Chester University and has worked as the Operations Manager at Daemion Counseling Center from 2019 to 2021. Recently, Kaitlen has returned to Daemion as the Executive Director, bringing with her extensive community roots and professional experience. Aside from her professional accomplishments, Kaitlen is also a devoted mother of two children who attend Tredyffrin Easttown School District. In her free time, she volunteers at the local schools and Little League Program. Kaitlen is passionate about serving those in need, and she is excited to lead Daemion into the future and enhance its longstanding commitment to the community.

Joni Yinger - Office Manager

Joni Yinger is the Office Manager at Daemion Counseling Center. She grew up in the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District, attended Conestoga High School, and received her degree from Hartwick College. Her three children also graduated from Conestoga. As a long-time employer in the T/E School District, owner of Unicorn's Corner Daycare, and a local real estate agent, Joni continues to make a great impact in her community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

Kathleen Wong - Director, Marketing and Project Management

Kathleen Wong is the Director of Marketing and Project Management at Daemion Counseling Center. She received a Master's degree in Health Administration and Health Education from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Philadelphia University. Kathleen manages the monthly newsletter, plans content for Daemion's social media, assists with grant-writing and events and helps the staff in whatever capacity to get things done! She believes in the healing power of therapy and the strong connection between mind and body. When she is not working at Daemion, she is teaching yoga and spending time with her husband, two children and dogs.

Frances Cuneo - Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor

Clients come to counseling to be heard, and through listening, comes a deeper understanding of the mind and heart and the bridge between them. I join my client where he or she is and we delve into the mysteries of the daily emotional challenges, and try to lead the client towards more workable and satisfying ways of living life.

Ruth Kirzner - Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor

There are times in life when people can benefit from some extra support and guidance. Seeking help can be an overwhelming and difficult process. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to helping clients reach their goals. My approach to those seeking help is one of warmth and respect. Susan Miller Alexander - Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor

Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Board Certified Counselor. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Miami University and her Masters in Community Counseling from Georgia State University. She has worked 10+ years counseling college students at DCCC with personal, career and academic concerns.

She uses an integrated approach to her work, combining an array of methodologies to help clients gain insight and understanding to their lives and overcome obstacles preventing them from living their best lives.

Heather Burns - Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor

Heather is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, with extensive experience in the field of counseling. In addition to her role as a therapist at Daemion Counseling, she also works at Delaware County Community College, where she provides guidance and support to students dealing with personal and academic challenges. Heather graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH, with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, followed by a master's degree in School Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. “My relationship-driven counseling style stems from years of experience working with children and adults struggling with life transitions. By meeting a client where they are, together with my solution-focused and strengths-based approach, we will work together to chart a path to better mental health wellness.”

Heather has been a committed volunteer swim coach at the Upper Main Line YMCA since 2014, where she enjoys giving back to the community through her love of coaching.

Laura Serinsky, LCSW, MLSP

Laura Serinsky, Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and enjoys working with both individuals and groups.  She graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of Pennsylvania and earned her Master’s degree in both Social Services and Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College.  She spent a number of years working for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago, Action AIDS in Philadelphia, and as an advocate for people with differences in physical and cognitive abilities

Laura’s current treatment approach is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and understands that learning to tune into and accept our thoughts and emptions, negative and positive alike, leads to better and stronger psychological outcomes.  Laura will meet her client where they are – online or in person and looks forward to working with clients at Daemion Counseling Center.

Andrew Jara

Andrew Jara graduated with a BA in psychology from Cabrini College. Currently he is working towards his Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Immaculata University. He is excited to be working at Daemion during his Practicum and is looking forward to forming strong relationships with clients.
