1621 clinical hours (181 regular clients)

120 intakes (2009) 127 intakes (2008),  195 intakes (2007),  111 intakes (2006)

115 clients weer discharged in 2009; 55 clients left with a diagnosis of improved, 25 intakes/evaluations only, and 31 left with no change.

Income levels:

50 at under $15K        payments $5 or less depending on employment situation

36 were $15 – $25K    payments of $5- $10

19 were $ 26-35K       payments of $10 - $ 15

23 were $ 36-50K       payments of $15 - $ 40

27 were over $51K      pays $75*

Financial Information

Daemion Counseling Center is a non-profit organization offering sliding scale fees counseling to uninsured and unerinsured members of the community. We are registered with the IRS as a 501(C)3 (non-profit) organization. Daemion Counseling Center does not receive government or insurance funding.
Daemion Counseling Center receives funds through the following sources:

  • Our Annual Appeal campaign in which we send approximately 1,800 letters to community residents and businesses requesting direct contributions to Daemion Counseling Center.
  • The United Way campaign, in which individuals designate their donations be given to Daemion Counseling Center (donor # 2897).
  • Local corporations are solicited for contributions for corporate grants and matching gift programs.
  • Charitable Foundations are solicited for financial support.
  • Area churches, organizations and small business support Daemion Counseling Center through goods, services, and/or financial contributions.
  • Individual gifts and memorials.

The generosity of the Board of Directors who provide Daemion Counseling Center with guidance and direction as well as financial support.
